The pool was nice, but the hot tub had almost no pressure it was more like just sitting in a hot bath tub. Moving all our stuff was a bit annoying, and no discount for the inconvenience was given (I didn't ask for one, but it would have been a nice gesture.) All property restaurants and cafes were closed during the week due to COVID, so you need to head into town for any food (no big deal though as there are many great places to eat nearby). We were given the same type of room, but with a much smaller balcony. We were originally given a room with a huge balcony, but the fridge (which we needed) didn't work and we were forced to move after we had put away our stuff. Views are solid, but obstructed by trees in many areas ask for a room on the highest floor possible. The hotel has a bit of a corporate feel (think Hampton Inn meets Ski Lodge). We absolutely love the Northeast Kingdom, and overall had a good stay here and appreciated that it was pet friendly ($25/day fee). Also, a summer's day splashing and lounging. Be sure to take the toll road up the mountain for some amazing views, and climb the fire tower at the top. This hotel has also joined in with many other places by charging a "resort fee" for, well, I'm not really sure what.
